    Blockchain intelligence is the structured analysis of on-chain activity to establish where value moved, which infrastructure processed it and which off-chain entities can be lawfully approached for further information. It is an evidentiary discipline rather than a recovery mechanism.

    What does blockchain intelligence actually establish?
    It establishes a documented, reproducible account of how value moved between addresses and services, and which off-chain custodians or service providers were involved. It does not establish the legal identity of a counterparty on its own; identity attribution normally depends on information held by regulated service providers and obtained through lawful process.
    Can on-chain analysis recover stolen digital assets?
    No. Analysis produces evidence and investigative leads. Whether any value is ultimately restored depends on custodial cooperation, prosecutorial action and judicial decisions, all of which sit outside an investigator's control.
    How is attribution confidence expressed in SEQRIA reporting?
    Each attribution is recorded with the heuristic or source that supports it and a stated confidence level. Inferences are separated from observations so that a reviewer, opposing expert or authority can test each step independently.
    Do mixers and bridges end an investigation?
    Not necessarily. They interrupt direct linkage and reduce confidence, but timing analysis, value correlation, bridge event records and downstream service interactions frequently allow the trail to be documented further, with the reduced confidence stated explicitly.
